Nydeco 1 Finally, a Blondie movie that I could watch from beginning to end. Back in the 60's when I was a very young boy living in Brooklyn, I used to love watching Blondie movies every Saturday morning. I never got tired of the bumbling Dagwood, charming Blondie, and precocious Baby Dumpling. The gags went over great and I found the movies thoroughly entertaining. Now, at 60 years old, I am surprised to discover the Blondie movies are tough to watch. I am ever sentimental and hopeful so I record them each week, but about 20 minutes in, I find myself bored and wondering how I could have loved them so much as a kid. Blondie Goes to College is a welcome exception. I sat through the entire movie and enjoyed it thoroughly. Put away your cell phone and give this one your full attention. I'm pretty sure you're going to like it as much as I did. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/24/23 Full Review Audience Member The entire series is great Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member This was quite fun, though very improbable, as Dagwood feels the great urge to take a break from work and go to college for the first time, both to further his education in industrial engineering, to aide his work for the Dithers Construction Company, and to enlist in football, baseball and track. He further convinces Blondie to do likewise, and it's a very enjoyable diversion for fans of the period. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review bill t Good, but not great, Blondie vehicle here as Dagwood has a brilliant idea that he and Blondie should return to college, and Baby Dumpling go to military school Hijinx insues. Some amusing scenes, but somewhat of a chore to sit through.. Lovely ending though. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member One of my Favorite Blondie episodes where they both go to school & others flirt with them while they must pretend not to be married Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Read all reviews
