Dale R Another compilation film from the television series. This one flows better than the other Davy Crockett movie and Jeff York as Mike Fink (another legendary American figure) is a welcome addition to the story. This one also is episodic and I felt a couple times that the story was over, only to have it continue into another “act”. If you like the previous movie, then this one is worth checking out. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 07/07/24 Full Review Russell H Fink was a great character as were all the white guys dressed like native Americans Rated 3 out of 5 stars 09/06/23 Full Review Jrn H These were big films for us on children's shows in the 50s, this was before TV came here. They are still good. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/09/22 Full Review Audience Member Another compilation film from the television series. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member Disney's Davy Crockett (played by a man named Fess…for real) is one of the least interesting heroes in history. No downfalls, no conflicts, no personal demons; he reminds me of a contestant on The Bachelorette that would be let go in an early episode sheerly because the woman forgot he existed. Nonetheless, this is much better than the original movie…mainly because it's closer to actually, ya know, BEING a movie. Also, Mike Fink is kinda great.
