Emily Nussbaum New York Magazine/Vulture [The] once-charming contrarianism has gone utterly rancid, leaving us with the unpleasant spectacle of David Duchovny straddled repeatedly by jailbait. Jan 9, 2011 Full Review Matt Zoller Seitz Salon.com If you watch this series every week, please stop. You're just enabling it. Jan 9, 2011 Full Review Aaron Riccio Slant Magazine If you're able to get past the inconsistencies of tone, the first eight episodes of the season are still a lot of black-and-blue fun, which is to say they're darkly humorous, prolifically sexual, and purely entertaining. Rated: 2.5/4 Jan 9, 2011 Full Review Stuff.co.nz Staff The Post NZ Hank doesn't suffer any real repercussions for his actions, so he has no real reason to change. Aug 28, 2019 Full Review Matt Joseph We Got This Covered It was a solid season when all is said and done and I'm looking forward to the return of Mr. Hank Moody. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long. Apr 3, 2018 Full Review Eric Sundermann Hollywood.com A pretty-well done and solid season so far. Feb 21, 2013 Full Review Read all reviews

Audience Member This has become redundant. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member One of the Best Season of the Series. Good story line, too many screw ups and the season where the fate of Hank is decided. This season also has best Guest actors of the series (Carla Gugino's acting is a watch for) . Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member After a stupendous first three episodes that were looking to be the start of the season I've been waiting for, the rest gets less serious. And the finale was underwhelming, unlike the first three seasons. Carla Gugino and Rob Lowe have great turns and should've been in more! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member After a weak season 2 and mediocre season 3, Caifornication finds its own voice again through great script in season 4. Hank continues his escapades, but sense of pushing things so far at the expense of loved ones becomes prominent and poignantly expressed this season, with a sense of things about to fall apart being conveyed strongly. Reignited my interest in the series. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
