Mekeisha Madden Toby TheWrap All people have to do is power up their TVs, set aside their sensitivities and tune in. Aug 7, 2018 Full Review Noel Murray The Verge Humans has a lot of relationship drama and poignant melancholy, which doesn't block the show from engaging with some classic SF themes. Jun 22, 2018 Full Review William Thomas Empire Magazine Arguably more compelling when it is raising questions than answering them, this is still one of the freshest British dramas in years. Rated: 4/5 Nov 6, 2017 Full Review Noetta Harjo Geek Girl Authority A thought-provoking story that focuses on the impact of artificial intelligence on modern society. Apr 22, 2020 Full Review Kathi Maio The Magazine of Fantasy & Science Fiction It's good, solid (even thought-provoking) sf entertainment; much better than most of the blockbuster fare you'll find at the movie theater. Mar 11, 2020 Full Review Michael Noble Den of Geek The differences between the syths, whether between individual models or series lines suggests the possibility of inter-synth conflict and may prove to be Humans' masterstroke. David W Humans’ debut season offers a compelling story arc with multiple storylines that merge as the season progresses. The show addresses some intriguing topics around artificial intelligence and consciousness. I am excited to see where Season 2 takes the show. I would be happy to watch this season again. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/16/24 Full Review pat k So far so good , intresting consept but can be uncomfortable to watch . I felt is was like slaving or people trafficking , the synths are just a commodity to be used and abused . It can be very chilling at times , your waiting for something to happen when you see Anita staring off into space . I began to wonder were the synths real peoples minds transferred in these bodies and the public don't know it . I would recommend it , I'm always waiting for something to happen , which is good . The only problem I had was that the mother in the family with the synth was in the IT crowd and I'm waiting for her to laugh but it's wearing off . I guess it would be like watching Bill Murray do Macbeth , you know he's gonna give someone a nuggie . Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/07/24 Full Review Robyn A This is a great show for sci-fi lovers. Great acting and directing! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/13/23 Full Review Georgan G Great idea for a series and well written. Interesting way to think about IA/robotics. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/03/23 Full Review Jared M Although ‘Humans' made its debut back in 2015, a show about how AI ‘synths' would intermingle within human society is far more relevant today in 2023, as we are very close to the topics covered in each episode actually becoming reality. I was searching for a new psychological deep sci-fi show that would make me think, and here it is. I'd previously never heard of it, but honestly I don't believe it would have had the same appeal for me 8 years ago. I loved Westworld, and I'd describe ‘Humans' as being a somewhat more domesticated version of WW. So if that's your thing, like it is mine, then I highly recommend giving this show a shot. You won't be disappointed. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Eugen S lüstig. teilweise spannend. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Read all reviews
