Blind 20-something Murphy is drifting through life in a haze of drunkenness, and her only friends are her understanding roommate Jess and Tyson, a sweet teenager she met when he saved her from a violent mugging. Murphy's life is turned upside down when, while out for a walk with her guide dog, she stumbles upon what she is certain is Tyson's lifeless body in the alley outside her apartment. When the body disappears by the time the police arrive, and they don't seem inclined to investigate, Murphy clings onto the only thing that can keep her together: figuring out what happened to her friend.

The main actress is incapable of playing blind. Just keep your eyes fixed and don't follow people with your eyes. This ruins a major part of this show. It is naive enough.

#TVReview #InTheDark #Netflix Seriously if you want something to binge and something to watch this is definitely the show for it. I was completely glued to the television watching season three, I previously already watched season one and two, and now this season three is out it is completely addicting. This show is about a blind girl trying to solve the case, and so much more twists and turns it's not a murder mystery, it's more of a suspenseful thriller television show. It's so amazing. Let's just say I love Murphy and pretzel

It now includes audio description. The actress playing the blind lead character still doesn't know how to do the "1000 yard stare" … at all. Her eyes are constantly following things and doing meaningful tracking. And since her eye color is that haunting silver (or VERY light blue) it is hard to not notice her eyes. It bugs me. Oh, and they really need a blind behavior consultant to tell them how to properly use a white cane. Oh well. It's entertaining enough for me to continue to watch.

This is by far the the worst show on TV! The storyline is convoluted and unbelievable. The pacing is slow and irregular. The acting is forced and second rate. The background music belongs on Dr. Who. I could go on and on, but I don't want to waste any more time on this terrible show.

Extremely happy to find this hidden gem on Netflix. My husband and I finished both seasons that same week, we were hooked immediately!! The characters are easy to fall I love with, from goofy to witty and a of course some badasses it's very fun to watch the characters grow on you. So be warned, it's hard to shut off.
