An oddball family of employees at supersized megastore Cloud 9 tackles the day-to-day grind of rabid bargain hunters, riot-causing sales and nap-worthy training sessions. Stalwart employee Amy is just trying to hold it all together despite the best efforts of her daftly clueless manager Glen and his iron-fisted assistant Dina. Rounding out the crew is new hire Jonah, a dreamy dreamer, sardonic Garrett, ambitious Mateo and sweet young Cheyenne. From bright-eyed newbies to seen-it-all veterans, bumbling seasonal hires and in-it-for-life managers, they're all going to get through another day -- together.

Steve Johnson Chicago Tribune Its particular saving grace, and a big part of the reason it's been around for five seasons, is the charm of America Ferrera as the store manager and Nichole Bloom as one of the associates. Apr 6, 2020 Full Review Amanda Wicks The Atlantic The show seems to be strengthening its approach to trickier, potentially polarizing topics while still staying true to its characters. Oct 1, 2019 Full Review Rebecca Onion Slate This good-hearted workplace comedy about a big-box store in St. Louis is the only contemporary sitcom about American workers that threads class consciousness...through every episode, without being too didactic about it. Sep 26, 2019 Full Review Alison Rowat The Herald (Scotland) It's no Frasier (what is?), or Schitt's Creek, but it is home to a large cast of solid characters (my favourite has to be Dina, the assistant manager/drill sergeant), sharp writing, and it's great to see a shop again. Any shop. Feb 19, 2021 Full Review Vikram Murthi The Nation Superstore thankfully hasn't lost its sense of humor, even as the material it deals with gets more serious. Nov 6, 2019 Full Review Dustin Rowles Pajiba I genuinely love each and every character on Superstore, and how it can deploy any one of them for the A-story on any given week. G c Just such a wholesome show i just adore it and miss it every day. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/26/24 Full Review letaiser after the two very good seasons it kind of fall Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/03/23 Full Review Andrei D Could use a little more feeling Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/19/23 Full Review Jakey B The show still has what makes it great, but this season features a bland finale compared to previous seasons. Still hilarious and very socially relevant. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 10/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This show used to be so funnt, but this season has been a huge let down. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member If we weren't so committed to the series at this point, we'd never have become hooked by the content of this season. It's all groan-worthy comedy now, often requiring characters being put in trope "mindless comedy writing" situations. Was such enjoyable escapism for four seasons, but really fell off the cliff for some reason this season. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews
