Prolific and successful independent producer who was responsible, through his Filmways company, for popular TV series including "The Beverly Hillbillies," "Green Acres" and "The Addams Family." Ransohoff produced his first feature in 1962 and has subsequently been responsible for films including "The Cincinnati Kid" (1965), "Catch-22" (1970), "Silver Streak" (1976) and "Jagged Edge" (1985).
