Simon Woods

Simon Woods was an actor who starred in many drama films. He worked in series television while getting his start in acting, including a part on "Rome" (HBO, 2005-07). He also was featured in the miniseries "Cambridge Spies" (2003-04) and "Elizabeth I" (2005-06). He also landed a role in the miniseries "Cranford" (2007). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Queen's Sister" (BBC, 2005). Later, he earned a role in "Angel" (2007). Woods focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the James McAvoy romantic comedy "Starter For 10" (2007), the Juliet Stevenson comedic drama "A Previous Engagement" (2008) and the dramatic adaptation "Penelope" (2008) with Christina Ricci. Woods most recently acted in "Sunny and the Elephant" (2008).
