This partially unscripted comedy brings viewers into the squad car as incompetent officers swing into action, answering 911 calls about everything from speeding violations and prostitution to staking out a drug den. It purports to showcase the jobs and arrests made by the Reno Police Department. The show is painfully stupid, and that is part of its charm. The characters are the strength of the show. The episodes move quickly, and there is a lot of humor in them. No one in this show takes themselves too seriously, and many taboo topics are treated with great humor.
