      Season 1 – Superman & Lois

2021 Drama Action Adventure Fantasy TRAILER for Superman & Lois: Season 1 Trailer - He Will Win List
86% 44 Reviews Tomatometer 75% 1,000+ Ratings Audience Score After years of facing supervillains, monsters and alien invaders, the world's most famous superhero, The Man of Steel aka Clark Kent and comic books' famed journalist Lois Lane come face to face with one of their greatest challenges ever -- dealing with being working parents in today's society. Complicating the already daunting job of raising two boys, Clark and Lois worry about whether their sons, Jonathan and Jordan, could inherit their father's Kryptonian superpowers as they grow older. Returning to Smallville to handle some Kent family business, Clark and Lois are reacquainted with Lana Lang and her Fire Chief husband, Kyle Cushing. The adults aren't the only ones rediscovering old friendships in Smallville as the Kent sons are reacquainted with Lana and Kyle's rebellious daughter, Sarah. Of course, there's never a dull moment in the life of a superhero, especially with Lois' father, Gen. Samuel Lane looking for Superman to vanquish a villain or save the day at a moment's notice. Though it may be a bit too grounded for some viewers, Superman & Lois draws strength from unexpected places - without skimping on the action -- to carve its own path in a crowded superhero universe.

Anime F To be honest, I did not enjoy this series as much as I thought I would. I don't know if it's just me, but I felt like they were moving a bit too fast during filming. Scene after scene, I like Superman, but I don't think drama is his thing. They should have stuck with the old action and adventure Superman. The only reason why I liked this a bit is because they didn't use bad CGI to cover up Tyler Hoechlin's facial hair, and his fight with Doomsday was good. Honestly, they should have added this to the Arrowverse. Just thought they didn't need to add any drama to it. But I don't blame them due to the pandemic. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/13/24 Full Review Wow. This was an unexpected surprise. This is how Superman should be portrayed. Great storylines and dynamics with all the characters. Tyler Hoechlin makes for a great Superman/Clark Kent and the chemistry between Bitsie Tulloch is amazing. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/21/24 Full Review Kittie K it was clean of the occult this season, but beware the second season and some of the 3rd. the second season is nothing but an occult's wet dream. same cult irl that catered to ep-stein. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 11/10/23 Full Review Matthew Michael B Took what makes Superman great (earnestness) and made a heartfelt, action-packed family drama. I'm so impressed. The build up is so well-written over the course of the season. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/05/23 Full Review Rusty23222 Now this is how a Superman show should be! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/18/23 Full Review Cable B easily one of the best depictions of Superman as a character as well as this season being a Top 5 of all the Arrowverse Seasons. Scott Bryan BBC.com The issue I found with this is that it leant too far into the realism and was therefore kind of boring. Rated: Not a Must Watch Apr 6, 2022 Full Review Melinda Houston Sydney Morning Herald One of the reasons Greg Berlanti and his team do such a consistently good job with these reimaginings is their affection for the original material -- an affection borne of a deep understanding. Rated: 3.5/5 Mar 25, 2021 Full Review Noel Murray Polygon There's no reason why a Superman show can't be fun and cool, while still working in the social relevance and teen-friendly melodrama that anchors the Arrowverse. Feb 24, 2021 Full Review Joshua Rivera Polygon There is, however, still plenty that can be said via superhero stories - and it's refreshing that, in its first, remarkably graceful season, Superman & Lois found a way to do that. Jan 12, 2022 Full Review Don Shanahan 25YL (25 Years Later) If the other CW shows have felt redundant, cheap, or flimsy to you, "Superman & Lois" will open your eyes, grab your heartstrings, and still dazzle your valiant action cravings. Rated: 4/5 Oct 24, 2021 Full Review Siddhant Adlakha IGN Movies A sincere show that combines modern stylings with old-world optimism. Rated: 8/10 Aug 19, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
