Peter Carruthers

Peter Carruthers was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "The True Gift of Christmas" (1987-88), "Salute to Dorothy Hamill" (HBO, 1987-88) and "The Ice Capades With Kirk Cameron" (ABC, 1988-89). He also appeared in "A Skating Spectacular 1989" (PBS, 1988-89) and "Vail Figure Skating Festival" (HBO, 1989-1990). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "The 1994 Winter Olympics (TNT)" (1993-94), "An Evening of Championship Skating (1993)" (PBS, 1993-94) and "Skate International Champions Finals" (Fox, 1995-96). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Discover Stars on Ice Presented By Smuckers" (1998-99), "Canadian Professional Championships" (TNT, 1998-99) and "Elvis on Ice" (TBS, 1998-99). He also appeared in "The Japan Open" (TNT, 1998-99). Carruthers most recently appeared in "The State Farm U.S. Figure Skating Championships" (ABC, 2001-02).
