Audience Member Feb 2015 - picked the wrong Immortal on Netflix. This gets 1/2 a star because there is nothing lower. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review Audience Member For a low budget, independent film, "Immortal" isn't that bad of a movie- though it's really not much of a horror film- despite dealing with vampires. This movie presents and interesting and differant look at the vampire by treating them as if they were an addict. The characters, though not completely developed, are still interesting to watch. The story, with some fleshing out would've been strong and a little less disjointed. The music was quite good considering that the bands used were college bands. The gore and scares are sparse as this movie was more about the people than trying to scare us. This unique film shows a lot of potential to be a truly wonderful viewing experience... all it needed was a little polishing and development. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I love the visual effects but agree with jc when she said that it lacked in big budget special effects. All around, I loved the movie.
