Texas Ranger Bob Crandall (Don "Red" Barry) is booted from the force, accused of helping his friend, Tim Martin (James Gillette), smuggle guns across the border. Crandall does not face any charges, but his buddy is tossed into jail. When Tim winds up killed by Sheriff Warde (Ernie Stanton) while in custody, Crandall heads off to Mexico to clear his head and get his life back in order. He also intends to infiltrate the gunrunners Tim worked with and break them.
