Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review russell h I'm sure this was ground breaking at the time but now it just looks like a cheesy documentary about animals. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I normally don't really watch documentaries, or at least I do not treat them as movies I'd like to rank on film platforms like this. But I remember that this partically, Disney produced and charmingly moderated film about life in a desert really had a big impact on me as a child. Also, what is funnier than drunk elephants? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie for kids. I watched this growing up and remember some awe-inspiring nature shots and some animal interactions that were quite entertaining. May not be as interesting to an adult, but I still love it, maybe out of nostalgia. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/21/23 Full Review Audience Member The first of the full length True-Life Adventures is not especially remarkable. I also thought the film focused too much on the tarantula, which is not exactly my favorite animal to begin with. (First and only viewing - 8/23/2015) Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member This Disney nature documentary from the 50s is an interesting look at the plant and animal life in the deserts of America. It is decent but basic, it doesn't go too in depth, but as an introductory course for children to get interested in nature and biology it does a great job.
