Audience Member An interesting fable, told in the tradition of a classic European fairy tale or morality tale but set on an exotic, tropical island, The Stonecutter is perhaps a bit over long but still enjoyable. There is not dialog, simply an extensive narration. I'm not especially enamored of the tale's message, which is a bit too much of the sheep philosophy (be happy with your lot, and don't try to better yourself). Still, it's not the first fable to have a moral I find somewhat distasteful but a story I find fun to listen to. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was completley and utterly stupid- a waste of my quite valuable time. It would have been decent had the main characters made any noise aside from the wierd singing sound- but no one talked accept for some random narrarator... DO NOT SEE THIS MOVIE FOR YOUR LIFE!
