Audience Member The Smell of Burning Ants utilizes the natural aesthetic of 16mm film and optical printing to make for an experimental documentary short that may, at times, veer too far off the rails but is ultimately a thought-provoking unique viewing experience. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member A part documentary part avant-garde art piece examining the pressures of growing up under the strain of gender roles for a young boy and the perpetuation of violence that continues from generation to generation. Narration cut to stock footage--very engaging. I've become a fan of Jay Rosenblatt. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
