Synopsis
It's hard nowadays to imagine what life was like before the Internet and World Wide Web made the world a much smaller place. This four-part series of one-hour episodes tells the stories of America's biggest corporations and the few computer experts who started an Internet revolution with their new technologies. Founders of some of the world's largest websites (including eBay, Google, Amazon and Yahoo) share their own stories of amazing growth in the global marketplace. The show is hosted by technology journalist John Heilemann.
