      The Pyramid

      TV-PG 2012 - Present 1 Season Game Show List
Reviews "The Pyramid" has been a popular game show through its many incarnations since first premiering in 1973. This version, hosted by Mike Richards, doesn't stray very far from the show's original format. Two contestants each have a celebrity partner, and a partner provides clues to seven mystery words, leaving the contestant to guess those words before time runs out. The game continues for three rounds with the highest-scoring pair at the end of the game advancing to the bonus round, called the Winner's Circle, for a chance to win up to $25,000. In the Winner's Circle, the clue giver must get the partner to identify the category (ex: types of sandwiches) by providing words and phrases that fit. If six categories are identified correctly in one minute or less, the contestant wins the grand prize, which ranges from $10,000 to $25,000, depending on the contestant's performance in the main game. Two games are played each episode, resulting in a potential $50,000 payday for one contestant. Read More Read Less
