Audience Member I found it interesting that this was the first movie I watched after I caught Iron Man 2. The Mark of Cain solidified my point that a big budget doesn't always produce a good film. Reminiscent of Titicut Follies, Alex Lambert shows an inside look at Russian prisons and their harsh conditions. Throughout the film, they touch on the various tattoos and what they entitle in the prison yard. Obviously made on a very small budget and with dated editing software, Mark of Cain's effective editing and storytelling allow the audience to engage and get to know the inmates on a personal level. Heart wrenching and extremely fascinating, this is a must-see for documentary or crime fans! Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member An inert mess of a doc--they needed a better editor--but the stories from these Russian prisoners open a window to their crumbling spirits. Disturbing and very, very sad. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member AWESOME WAR MOVIE - TODAYS EVENTS NOT OVER RATED PASS EVENTS....SO PRETTY HOT. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Wasn't horrible, a little dull and the story has been done but well acted. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/24/08 Full Review Audience Member A documetary about Russian prison tattoos. Is every Russian jailed for looking like a retarded bulldog? Or just the women? Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Disturbing, but an interesting perspective on the Iraq war. Pretty grafic so don't watch if you are easily upset. I would recommend this movie highly. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Read all reviews
