This drama series follows members of Austin's 126 Fire Department led by Capt. Owen Strand who, along with his adult son, T.K., move to Texas to help rebuild the firehouse which had experienced a tragedy of its own. His team of diverse and qualified first responders include widowed Paramedic Capt. Tommy Vega, Judd Ryder, who was the sole survivor of Austin's original 126 house after a rescue call ended in tragedy; Marjan Marwani, an adrenaline junkie and badass firefighter who also is a devout Muslim; Paul Strickland, a transgender male firefighter, who has a gift for observation worthy of Sherlock Holmes; and rookie firefighter Mateo Chavez.

Holly B Loved season 2 what a good show Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/25/24 Full Review Zain N Its like firefighters but they gove you eye cancer Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 09/05/24 Full Review Tamara-Leigh B I enjoyed the 2nd season, gave more detail into the main characters. I didn’t find it as exciting as the first season but that doesn’t take it away from it’s still a very good show. Looking forward to more seasons and the development of the characters Rated 4 out of 5 stars 08/21/24 Full Review Elizabeth P Horrible acting. Just the worst show to sit through. I thought it was a spin off of 9-1-1... it is not. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/16/23 Full Review Denis The first season was a bit too much. too much one off fire calls with no real story connecting them. Then repeat- But the characters kept me watching. Season two took a great step in the right direction! More meaningful moments, and I can tell it's only going to get better! The fire scenes felt more connected to the story as a whole. Not just trying to pin point a topic of the episode like in the first. It's a solid improvement and gives me hope for what's to come Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/23 Full Review Audience Member Season 2 has been a disappointment. The plots are getting more and more unrealistic. In addition, the on-again, off-again, on-again etc relationship between Capt Strand and his ex-wife is just silly and wearisome. Also, Capt. Strand does not strike me as a New Yorker, but as the ultimate metrosexual and that is getting tiresome. The original 911 is a stronger show.
